Water, a miraculous substance
It is absolutely essential for life. 70 percent of our bodies consist of water. Large parts of the Earth’s surface are covered with water. Yet we take water for granted as something unspectacular, since it is colourless, odourless and tasteless.
In fact, water is a miraculous substance that defies many scientific explanations. At room temperature, a water molecule is actually so light that it should be gaseous. If it reacted like related chemical substances, it would become gaseous at -68°C rather than at 100°C. Biological life would therefore not be possible.
Unlike probably all other molecules, water can exist in three states at the same time. When it freezes, the water at the bottom of the pond is liquid, solid ice floats on the surface, and gaseous water vapour is produced by solar radiation. Water has its highest density at +4°C, which means that ice floats on water. Other liquids, such as oils, sink to the bottom when they freeze.
This is the only reason why life is possible in the freezing polar seas. If water reacted like a ‘normal’ liquid, the cold oceans would be frozen from the bottom to the surface.
Hydrogen bonds as an explanation
Water consists of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom, which are held together by a pair of electrons. The electrical charge in this molecule is slightly unevenly distributed. This leads to the formation of hydrogen bonds, with different water molecules attracting each other alternately. Each water particle can form four such bonds with other water molecules.
This becomes visible in an ice crystal. Liquid water has fewer bonds and is therefore less structured. The formation and exact arrangement of hydrogen bonds has not yet been scientifically clarified.
No life without water in the cells
In our cells, water occurs on a smaller, molecular level. It interacts with the cell’s biomolecules, i.e. proteins and sugars. The electrically charged areas of the water molecules cause a variety of reactions that control cell function and thus our lives. Without cell water, the proteins in our genetic material cannot reproduce and pass on information. The electrical charge of the water molecule is also essential for the formation of proteins from amino acids.
The anomalies of water
Depending on the ambient pressure, water can remain liquid even at temperatures well below the normal freezing point of 0°C. Water is liquid in the contrails of aeroplanes flying at high altitudes. It freezes when heated.
Unlike air (air suspension), water can hardly be compressed. The hydrogen bonds keep the molecules apart. Even the water pressure at a depth of several kilometres in the Mariana Trench cannot deform the water at the bottom. Its density remains constant.
Thanks to its high surface tension, water can also be transported into the finest capillaries in the body via the capillary effect.
Water can absorb a great deal of heat, meaning it has a high heat capacity. In times of climate change, large bodies of water such as lakes and oceans play a significant role in balancing out weather differences.

Filtration of drinking water is sensible
The treatment and monitoring of drinking water, our most important foodstuff, is carried out in accordance with strict guidelines. Consumers can be sure that tap water is free of harmful substances within the specified limits.
Nevertheless, drinking water may contain substances that you would not want to consume, even in the smallest quantities. To remove these components, drinking water should be filtered. However, it is practically impossible to remove all pollutants completely. The aim must therefore be to filter out the really relevant contaminants efficiently, cost-effectively and without any noticeable impact on everyday usability. This is possible with our filter.
The biggest problem for drinking water begins in the home. Rust in pipes, copper or plastic pipes, plasticisers and plastic leaching from seals, contact corrosion in screw connections, biological contamination from standing water, fittings made of heavy metal alloys, etc. All these factors and many more can contaminate our drinking water to a high degree.
Our drinking water filter is extremely effective against these contaminants. Unlike osmotic processes, the mineral content and taste of the water are preserved. Water pressure is only reduced insignificantly.
3Quellen-water forms beautiful ice crystals
The Japanese scientist Masaru Emoto established connections between the appearance of ice crystals and the quality or condition of the respective water. According to his theory, ice crystals from “bad” or “negative” water are always ugly. ‘Positive’ or ‘good’ water, on the other hand, forms beautiful and luminous ice crystals. Emoto’s theories are not scientifically verifiable and are classified as parascience.
Despite our preference for verifiable facts, we had water activated using the 3Quellen technique photographed. The same tap water served as a control, but without our activation. Decide for yourself which water you would like to drink based on the pictures.

3Quellen-water in the flow test
The more intensively research focuses on water, the clearer it becomes how extraordinary the H2O molecule is. In addition to scientifically proven facts, researchers are constantly encountering new phenomena that cannot yet be explained. Often, the line between science and parascience is blurred in the truest sense of the word.
A customer had our 3Quellen water activation tested by the renowned Institute for Flow Sciences. A high-quality reference water from the institute’s source was compared with tap water activated by a 3Quellem M device. Drip pattern analyses were used to evaluate the flow movements and other criteria in comparison.
Dr Manfred Schleyer came to the extremely pleasing conclusion that the values of the activated tap water were higher than those of the institute’s source in all respects. This had not been the case in a single test in recent decades.
These are the results of a self-test and not scientifically proven findings.
What is animated, levitated, vitalised, energised or informed water?
Various manufacturers of water treatment devices claim, in their advertising, to produce ‘activated’, ‘levitated’, ‘vitalised’, ‘energised’ or ‘informed’ water. These alleged properties are all based on pseudoscientific or esoteric theories. From a scientific point of view, there is no credible evidence to support these claims.
Often, the fanciful explanations for why one technique or another is used are pure fiction. Of course, we could also tell the story of Franz Denk and how he discovered the secret of activated water at the end of a rainbow. With a story like that, we might win over susceptible customers, but we would lose our credibility. We prefer to be honest about what we know and what we don’t. Nevertheless, there are satisfied customers of ‘activated water’ all over the world, and we would never wish to deny them their personal happiness. We ourselves rely on discerning customers who are not so easily swayed by supposed promises of healing.
Our granted patents can serve as a yardstick for forming your own opinion. This is because patent law clearly stipulates that no patent can be granted for inventions that lack scientific plausibility. Just as one cannot patent an ‘air hook’, an ‘informed revitaliser for levitated water’ would stand no chance either.
What is hexagonal water?
When water freezes, ice crystals form. These can be photographed. Ideally, a hexagonal ice crystal forms – that is, a regular structure with six sides. We have described this above. According to one theory, ice crystals from ‘poor-quality’ water do not exhibit a hexagonal structure. This would mean that such water lacks the ability to bind and dissolve. These observations and the explanations derived from them are not scientifically proven.
