Water treatment without chemicals, maintenance or magic

Anyone who takes a close interest in water treatment and water activation is usually confronted with magical effects and scientifically questionable equipment. Some people allow tap water to flow past a mysterious active water source, others treat it with magnets or electric cuffs, and still others claim to have found the philosopher’s stone.

For us, only verifiable facts count. Our 3Quellen system utilises the natural reactions of water in combination with ceramic-bonded quartz. We also introduce kinetic energy into the water. Everything works permanently, naturally, without chemical additives and without electricity. Our 3Quellen system is patented, and the underlying chemical and physical effects have been researched (see below). It even works during a full moon, and you don’t have to believe in a guru.

Apply kinetic energy

The image of a mountain stream with its roaring eddies illustrates the basis of ‘moving water’ in nature. In the patented 3Quellen device, flow vortices are created by means of built-in ceramic moulded stones. This introduces kinetic energy into the water. The water is thereby energised and activated.

Recharge water naturally

When water flows over certain types of rock, more chemical reactions occur than previously assumed. For example, water changes its charge properties when it comes into contact with silicate surfaces. That is why we manufacture the internal activation cascades from CeraAktiv ceramic. This very special ceramic consists mainly of water-insoluble bound quartz (silicates). This ceramic is only available from us; it was developed by us and is protected by us.

The ceramic moulded blocks or activation cascades are manufactured using our patented Porosium surface. This makes it possible to create up to 100 m² of surface area on one gram of ceramic. This allows us to achieve the smallest structures and maximise the effective surface area. Turbulence and contact action are optimised.

45 years of experience

Back in the 1980s, Franz Denk experimented with using spring water instead of tap water to mix clay. The positive result: clay mixed with spring water was much easier to work with. Its raw breaking strength was significantly greater and it was much less prone to cracking during drying. And this was despite the fact that the chemical water analysis values hardly differed from our tap water. Of course, these findings were not scientifically proven, but for us as craftsmen, they were a tangible reality.

Scientifically researched

A research group at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz was able to demonstrate changes in water chemistry through contact with solid surfaces. The results were published in June 2014 in the renowned journal Science*. Among other things, it was found that the charge properties of flowing water change when it comes into contact with silicate surfaces. CeraAktiv consists of special water-insoluble silicate minerals, crystals, quartz and feldspar.

Simple installation

Our drinking water systems are installed in the existing water system. All connections are standardised and simple in design.

The Model S with optional filter can be installed by the user, as shown here. For all larger water appliances, we recommend installation by a professional plumber.

The 3Quellen devices are maintenance-free. The first device has been in use for more than 25 years.
