Applications for water activation

After more than 25 years, we have a wealth of experience with our ceramic water activation devices in a wide variety of areas of application.

Mineral Water Producer

We have developed a large-scale system consisting of five 3Quellen L units specifically for a mineral water bottling plant in Brandenburg. This system is capable of activating and subsequently bottling approximately 25,000 litres of water per hour.

Household

Customer reviews range from improved plant growth and better cleaning performance to a significantly more pleasant sensation on the skin when showering and bathing.

Hotel & Restaurant

The first installation of a 3Quellen unit in the hospitality sector also took place in Rödental. Following the Grosch Brewery’s positive experience with beer brewing, the water supply to the newly built hotel was also upgraded with two 3Quellen L units.

Bakeries

The first use of a 3Quellen device in a bakery was at the Reißenweber Bakery in Rödental. The owner and master baker reported on the positive effects it had on dough handling.

Coffee & Tea

Many customers are delighted by the positive effect that 3Quellen water has on the taste of coffee and tea. It is noticeable, for instance, that the usual tea film no longer forms. The taste of the tea is described as more intense and, particularly in the case of black tea, as gentler.

Ceramic Production

Denk Keramik was founded in 1964. In our workshops, dry ceramic clay is mixed with water to form a paste, which can be worked after a four-week curing period. In the 1980s, Franz Denk experimented with using spring water instead of tap water to mix the clay.

Breweries

The Grosch Brewery (founded in 1425) in Rödental was our first client in the food sector. The visionary managing director, Christoph Pilarzyk, was convinced from the very start. There is no doubt that water quality plays a crucial role in brewing.

Drinking Water

The treatment and monitoring of drinking water, our most important foodstuff, is carried out in accordance with strict guidelines. Consumers can be confident that tap water is free from harmful substances, provided it remains within the permitted limits.

Water activation in households and industry

The state ensures that every citizen has access to clean drinking water. Our central water supply pumps water into our homes. As a result, water has become a ubiquitous commodity for modern humans. However, this luxury comes at a price. Water flows through endless pipes, is pumped through pumps and stored in drinking water reservoirs. It is domesticated.

Our bodies consist mainly of water, which is why this molecule is essential for our organism. People used to say, “Just let the tap run for a while, then the water will taste fresh.” But anyone who has ever taken a sip of water directly from a spring or a clear mountain stream knows the difference.

Water has a special physical structure as a “liquid crystal”. This is made possible by so-called hydrogen bonds. H2O is a very special molecule that we should pay more attention to again.
